For a brief overview, here are your rights and obligations:

Rights and obligations

We publish your text as an e-book and printed book.
Publication is subject to a fee and is based on our price list and the services you have ordered.
If you wish, you can publish your book anonymously or under a pseudonym.
Your text may have already been published elsewhere.
You assure that you are the author of the text and that you do not violate any rights of third parties.
Your work will be available on the GRIN websites as well as in numerous other online shops and bookstores worldwide. Our sales network is continuously expanded: trading partners.
We provide a free sample of your book to give potential readers an insight.
The contract term is two years and is automatically extended for another two years, unless terminated three months before expiry.

Fees and Payments

We pay out your fee at least twice a year – in practice quarterly.
You will receive commissions per sale according to our self-publishing fee table
In addition, you can apply for remuneration from VG Wort, provided that your text is recognised by VG Wort as being subject to remuneration. You are entitled to the complete VG-Wort author remuneration.

By accepting the contract, you will initially incur neither costs nor obligations. After submitting your manuscript and selecting the desired package, we will review the submitted content and the selected services. We will then create an order confirmation and send it to you. The contract does not come into force until you have accepted the order confirmation.
